3 robbers arrested with weapons in capital
DHAKA, May 19, 2021 (BSS) – Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Khilkhet police arrested three robbers with weapons from Banarupa residential area of Khilkhet police station on Monday.
The arrested are Mohammad Sajib, Mohammad Russell and Mohammad Latif Islam.
Two chapatis and a knife were recovered from their possession.
Khilkhet police inspector (investigation) Mohammad Aminul Islam said they were arrested with home-made weapons in a raid in the Banarupa residential area while preparing for the robbery.
A case has been filed against them with Khilkhet police station, said the official.
