Booters to leave for Qatar May 30
DHAKA, May 19, 2021 (BSS)- The Bangladesh national football team will leave for Qatar on May 30 instead of May 22 as scheduled earlier according to the decision of National teams committee.
The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) earlier had planned to arrange two warm-up matches for the national team ahead of the World Cup qualifiers matches against Afghanistan, India and Oman. As the Qatar Football Association will not be able to arrange any preparation match there and they will not provide swimming, gym and dining facilities to the team due to strict health regulations for COVID-19 situation. Footballers will not be allowed to go anywhere other than the training ground and the hotel.
That is why BFF has decided to send the football team to Qatar on May 30, four days before the first match.
