Closure of varsities extended till May 29
DHAKA, May 16, 2021 (BSS) – The ongoing closure of the country’s all universities including Qawmi Madrasas has been extended till May 29 due to the recent spike in Covid-19 infections.
The decision was taken in consultation with the National Advisory Committee on Covid-19, said an Education Ministry statement today.
It was stated in the statement that this decision has been taken considering the health protection and overall safety of students, teachers, staff and parents as the recent Covid-19 epidemic is on the rise all over the world including Bangladesh.
