Documentary exhibition marking Sheikh Hasina’s homecoming day begins tomorrow

DHAKA, May 15, 2021 (BSS) – A two-day documentary exhibition will
begin tomorrow marking the four decades of homecoming of Awami League
President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the premises of
Bangabandhu Bhaban at Dhanmondi road number 32 here.

AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister
Obaidul Quader will inaugurate the exhibition at 11 am through a
videoconference.

Party’s information and research affairs sub-committee is arranging
the exhibition with the title “Four Decades of Sheikh Hasina:
Indomitable Progress of Changed Bangladesh”, said a press release here
today.

Dhaka University former Vice-Chancellor and chairman of the board
of directors of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) Professor AAMS
Arefin Siddique will virtually join the inaugural ceremony of the
exhibition as the discussant while AL Advisory Council Member Dr
Mashiur Rahman will chair it (on virtual platform).

AL Information and Research Secretary Dr Selim Mahmud will moderate
the function from the Bangabandhu Bhaban end.

Through the exhibition, the new generation can know the history of
the struggles led by Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina for
restoration of the country’s democracy and Bangladesh’s unprecedented
development and progress under her dynamic leadership.
