Saif SC lose valuable points
DHAKA, May 1, 2021 (BSS) – Saif Sporting Club lost valuable points
as they were forced to play a tame goalless draw by Rahmatganj Muslim
and Friends Society, the comparatively weaker side, in the second
round match of Bangladesh Premier League football held today at
Bangabandhu National Stadium here.
In the day’s match, both the teams created several scoring chances
in the whole proceeding but failed to convert any of those into a
goal.
With the day’s outcome, the Federation Cup runners-up Saif SC
secured 23 points from 13 matches while the old Dhaka outfit
Rahmatganj bagged 14 points from the same number of matches.
Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society will play their next match
against Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra on March 4 while Saif SC meet
Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited on March 5. Both the matches will be
held at the same venue.
