DHAKA, April 29, 2021 (BSS)- Chief of Army Staff General Aziz Ahmed will leave Dhaka for Zambia on an official visit tomorrow at the invitation of Zambian Army Chief Lt Gen William Sikazwe.
During the visit, General Aziz Ahmed will lead a 6-member delegation of Bangladesh Army.
The Chief of Army Staff will visit various military installations and training facilities of the Zambian Army.
He will pay a courtesy call on the Minister of Defense of Zambia, Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Air Staff and Commandant of the Zambia National Service (ZNS).
During the meeting, he will discuss in detail for strengthening the relations between the two countries’ armies and mutual cooperation.
Besides, Aziz will visit the Zambia Defense Service Command and Staff College and deliver a lecture to the concerned students and officers there.
The Army Chief will return to the country on May 6, 2021.
