DHAKA, April 22, 2021 (BSS) – Ekushey Padak winning journalist Zafar
Wazed has been reappointed as the Director General (DG) of Press
Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) for another two years.
According to a press release issued by PIB today, the appointment was
made in accordance with Section 9 (2) of the Press Institute
Bangladesh Act, 2018.
Earlier, on April 21, 2019, he was appointed as the Director General
of PIB and his tenure was expired on April 20 last.
