Bangladesh Police, Ansar share team gold in gymnastics
DHAKA, April 3, 2021 (BSS) – Bangladesh Police and Bangladesh Ansar earned the distinction of sealing the team gold medal in men’s and women’s gymnastics championship of Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Games ended at National Sports Council Gymnasium on Saturday.
Police collected 186.54 points, while Ansar posted 109.45 points to pocket the team golds. Quantum Cosco School & College bagged the male’s silver with 179.30 points and Ansar earned the bronze. On the other hand women’s Bangladesh Police team clinched 91.10 points to secure the team silver medal.
Md Al Amin snatched the coveted best all-rounder male gymnast with 64.05 points. Rajib Chakma closely finished second with 63.75 points. Sangkhai Dhumi Kitong of Police had to remain content with the bronze medal.
