Genocide Day observed in Nilphamari
NILPHAMARI, March 25, 2021 (BSS) – Genocide Day was observed in the town today to commemorate the brutalities of Pakistani forces on the day in Dhaka in 1971.
Marking the day, a discussion was held in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner this afternoon.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Md Azharul Islam chaired the meeting spoken among others by Zila Parishad Chairman Joynal Abedin, Deputy Director of Local Govt Division Abdur Rahman, freedom fighter Aminul Haque, Sadar Upazila Chairman Shahid Mahmud and UNO Elina Akhter.
