Land minister gets int’l recognition for land service digitalization

DHAKA, March 21, 2021 (BSS) – “World Book of Records”, a UK-based organization, today honoured Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury in recognition of his matchless contribution to digitalize services and turn the ministry into a transparent and accountable public institution.

Chairman of ‘World Book of Records’ Dr Diwakar Sukul formally honoured Saifuzzaman Chowdhury at a virtual ceremony joining from the UK.

The minister joined it from the conference room of the ministry at the Bangladesh secretariat.

Dr Diwakar Sukul informed the minister that his name has been listed in the record book of the organization.

President of the organization’s Bangladesh chapter Raoman Smitha handed over the certificate of honour to the land minister.

Land Secretary Md Mostafizur Rahman PAA was present as a guest of honour.

Chairman of Land Reform Board Md Mostafa Kamal, Director General of Land Record and Survey Department Md. Taslimul Islam and Additional Secretary Pradip Kumar Das were present, among others.

The World Book of Records certifies, verifies and records extraordinary achievements around the world.
