Inter-district Women’s Volleyball final tomorrow
DHAKA, March 15, 2021 (BSS)- Rajshahi district will take on Pabna district
in the final match of Bangabandhu 18th Inter-district Women’s Volleyball
competition scheduled to be held tomorrow (Tuesday) at Kurigram district
stadium in Kurigram.
The final match kicks off at 3 pm, following the place-deciding match
between Rajbari district and Khulna district that begins at 8 am at the same
venue.
On way to the final today, Rajshahi district beat Khulna district by
straight 3-0 sets in the first semifinal while Pabna district defeated
Rajbari district by 3-1 sets in the second semis.
Meanwhile,in the day’s group phase match, Pabna district outclassed Cumilla
district by 3-0 set.
A total of twelve district teams from across the country are taking part
in the meet, organized by Kurigram District Sports Association. The
participating district teams are Rajbari, Rangpur, Kushtia, Satkhira, Pabna,
Bagerhat, Khulna, Rangamati, Cumilla, Jhenaidah, Rajshahi and host Kurigram.
