Iqbal expects good performance from young stars
DHAKA, March 15, 2021 (BSS)- The newly appointed manager of Bangladesh
national football team Mohammad Iqbal Hossain expressed his high hope with
the young stars who will play the tri-nation tournament in Nepal.
He was speaking to the pressmen during the team’s practice session held
today at Bangabandhu National Stadium.
Though, maximum young players have been included in the team for the tri-
nation tournament so it will be a positive sign. The new should give chance
in the team. The main team will be benefited from them if the new comers able
to do well in Nepal.
He said seniors players are playing for a long time so we are trying to
create opportunity for the young stars. So that they can make their place in
the team and for this reason we are going to take part in the tournament, he
added.
Replying to a question, Iqbal said he wants to do something good for
football as Bangladesh Football Federation has given him the charge of the
national team manager.
