DHAKA, March 14, 2021 (BSS) – The government today appointed Abu Farah Md Naser as the new deputy governor of the Bangladesh Bank (BB).
Naser, who is now enjoying PRL after completion of his job responsibility as the executive director of the central bank, has been given the new appointment as the deputy governor subject to withheld of his PRL as per the Article 10 (4) of the Bangladesh Bank Order, 1972 and the concerned gazette notification issued by the Financial Institution Division on June 11, 2019.
A notification of the Financial Institution Division issued today also said that the contractual appointment of Naser will remain effective until the age of 62 on February 23, 2024.
This order will come into immediate effect, said the notification.
