DEATH-ROAD-ACCIDENT
One killed, 2 injured in city road accident
DHAKA, July 16, 2018 (BSS) – One person was killed and two others were
injured in a road accident in city’s Kuril Biswaroad area this noon.
The deceased was identified as Md Rubel Miah, 25, an inhabitant of
Shibchar area in Madaripur district.
The accident took place at around 12 noon as a bus of Suprovat Paribahan
hit pedestrians, leaving Rubel dead on the spot, and Masum and Maria injured.
“Police with the help of bystanders shifted the injured persons to
Kurmitola General Hospital,” officer-in-charge (OC) of Khilkhet Police
Station Mohammad Shahidul Islam told BSS.
Police seized the killer bus and arrested its helper Shaheed Faraizi. A
case was filed with Khilkhet Police Station in this regard.
The body of the victim was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue
for autopsy.
