Atiqul inspects mosquito crush programme in DNCC areas
DHAKA, March 10, 2021 (BSS) – Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Md Atiqul Islam today inspected the DNCC’s region-based integrated crush programme or Culex mosquito eradication operation started from Monday last in the city.
The DNCC mayor inspected the mosquito eradication drive in Mohammadpur Ring Road, Shia Mosque area, Ramchandrapur canal and adjoining areas and also recovered some portion of a Khal near Somajkallyan More in city’s Agargaon area.
The crush programme will be conducted in Mohakhali region (Region-3) tomorrow. The campaign will continue till March 16 except Friday.
DNCC Chief Executive Officer Md Selim Reza, Chief Health Officer Brigadier General Jobaidur Rahman, Ward Councilors Shafiqul Islam Sentu, Salimullah Salu, Asif Ahmed, Syed Noor Hossain, Forkan Hossain and Hamida Akter Mita were present on the occasion.
