DHAKA, Mar 07, 2021 (BSS) – Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader today called upon the youths to build a bright future for them by following the ideologies of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family members.
He made the call while virtually addressing a rally, participated by about 1.5 lakh children of 1,500 educational institutions, on the occasion of historic March 7 organized by Khulna district administration in Khulna.
Quader, also road transport and bridges minister, joined the event through video-conference from his city residence.
He said premier Sheikh Hasina embodies the name of the most successful politician in Bangladesh after 1975.
The family of Bangabandhu symbolizes honesty, talent and courage in this country, he said, adding that the daughter Bangabandhu Sheikh Hasina can be a role model for the youth.
With Khulna Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Helal Hossain in the chair, the event was attended, among others, by Khulna City Corporation Mayor Talukder Abdul Khaleq, Awami League Organizing Secretary SM Kamal Hossain, Deputy Minister for Education Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury, Khulna District Awami League President Sheikh Harunur Rashid, its General Secretary Sujit Adhikari and lawmakers Narayan Chandra Chanda and Salam Morshedi.
