Historic 7 March speech inspired people for Liberation War: Murad
JAMALPUR, Mar 1, 2021 (BSS) – State Minister for Information Dr Md Murad
Hassan today said the historic 7 March speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur
Rahman was a remarkable chapter for the Bengalee nation as it made the nation
united.
“The historic 7 March speech of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh
Mujibur Rahman was the source of inspiration for the War of Liberation. The
freedom-loving people gathered on the day to get the directives of
Bangabandhu on liberation war,” he said.
The state minister said this while addressing as the chief guest at a
reception program for newly elected mayor and councilors at Sarishabari
Pourasabha in Jamalpur organized by the Upazila Awami League.
Dr Murad Hassan further said the country’s people will remember the
historic speech of Bangabandhu forever.
District Awami League (AL) Vice-President Abu Zafor Ahmed Shisha,
Upazila AL President Sanwar Hossain Badsha, Upazila Parishad Chairman Freedom
Fighter Gias Uddin Pathan, Pourasabha Mayor Monir Uddin addressed the
function while Sarishabari Pourasabha Awami League President Mizanur Rahman
presided over the function.
