Mannan mourns death of ASA founder Shafiqual Haque Chy
DHAKA, Feb 12, 2021 (BSS) – Planning Minister MA Mannan today
expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Shafiqual Haque
Choudhury, founder of the non-governmental organization ASA.
In a condolence message, the minister prayed for the eternal peace
of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved
family.
Shafiqual Haque, also former adviser to the caretaker government,
breathed his last at 11:30pm on Thursday at a hospital in the city
while undergoing treatment.
Shafiqul Haque Chowdhury had been serving as the President of ASA since 1978.
