3 ‘bookies’ placed on three-day remand
CHATTOGRAM, Feb 8, 2021 (BSS) – Three alleged bookies, who were arrested during the Bangladesh-West Indies Test here on Saturday, were placed on a three-day remand.
Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Mohiuddin Murad passed the order.
Members of the National Security Intelligence detained them from the main entrance of Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium and later handed them to the police.
The arrestees Sunil Kumar, 38, Chatan Sharma, 33, and Sunny Myagu, 32, are Indian citizens.
