CHATTOGRAM, Feb 5, 2021 (BSS) – At least three people were killed and four
others injured as a sand-laden truck hit a CNG-run auto rickshaw in city’s
Rahattarpool area.
The deceased were identified as Wahid Mia, 52, Md. Shahid Mazi, 62, and
Md. Abdul Mannan, 40.
Amir Hossain, sub-inspector (SI) of Bakalia thana, told BSS that seven
people received serious injuries when the sand-carrying truck hit the CNG
auto rickshaw in front of Rahattarpool Blooming Park Community Centre around
11:30pm on Thursday.
They were taken to Chattogram Medical College Hospital where three people
died.
Four others are undergoing treatment at the hospital.
