Independent candidate Khaled Sifullah wins Chowmuhani municipality polls
NOAKHALI, Jan 30, 2021 (BSS) – Independent candidate Khaled Sifullah was declared the winner in Chowmuhani municipality mayoral polls.
He was elected mayor unofficially securing 13,512 votes, while his nearest rival Akter Hossain Faisal from Bangladesh Awami League got 10,995 votes.
Jahiruddin Harun of BNP bagged 5,526 votes in the polls.
District Election Officer Md Rabiul Alam confirmed the results.
