Habiganj, Jan 28, 2021 (BSS) – Two tea workers were killed in a wall collapse at Dewdi tea garden in Chunarughat Upazila of the district this morning.
The deceased were identified as Ajit Bappi, 30 and Shapon Mal.
Eye witnesses said the a big chunk of wall collapsed on them at around 11 am when they were engaged in repairing works of the old factory building of the garden.
Bappi and Shapon were brought at Habiganj Sadar Hospital where attending doctors declared them dead, said Sub Inspector Nesar Ahmed at the hospital.
