DHAKA, Jan 18, 2021 (BSS) – Prime Minister and Awami League (AL) President Sheikh Hasina today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Chattogram City AL Member Tareq Solaiman Selim.
In a condolence message, the premier prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Selim, also former councilor of the 31 no. ward of Chattogram City Corporation, breathed his last this afternoon while undergoing treatment at a hospital in the city at the age of 57.
He left behind his wife, a son, two daughters and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
