‘Mujib Barsho‘ Services Kabaddi’s final tomorrow
DHAKA, Dec 29, 2020 (BSS)- The final match of the ‘Mujib Barsho‘ Services Kabaddi league will be held tomorrow (Wednesday) at Kabaddi Stadium in the city at 6.30 pm.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan MP is expected to present in the prize distribution ceremony after the final match and distribute the prizes while Youth and Sports Secretary Akhter Hossain, Bangladesh Olympic Association’s Secretary General Syed Shahed Reza and National Sports Council Secretary Mohammad Masud Karim will present there as special guests.
Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation (BKF) president and Director General of Rapid Action Battalion Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun will preside over the prize distribution ceremony.
BKF general secretary and Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Bangladesh Police (Dhaka range) and BKF joint secretary and additional DIG (development) Gazi Mohammad Mozammel Haque will also present there.
Meanwhile, on the day’s matches held at kabaddi stadium, Bangladesh Jail kabaddi team beat Bangladesh Fire Service kabaddi team by 40-19 points while Bangladesh Navy defeated Bangladesh Air Force team by 32-36 points.
A total of six teams are taking part in the league, orgainsed by BKF. The league is being held to celebrate the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Participating teams:
Bangladesh Navy, Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Air Force, Bangladesh Police Bangladesh Jail and Bangladesh Fire Service.
