Namjari for certified FFs to be completed in 10 working days

DHAKA, Nov 17, 2020 (BSS) – The land registration (Namjari) for certified heroic freedom fighters (FFs) will be completed in ten working days.

The Ministry of Land issued a circular in this regard today.

In the circular, it has been said that the applications of freedom fighters received for ‘Namjari’ would be entered in a separate register named ‘Bir Muktijoddha der Jonno Namjarir Register’.

Besides, the Assistant Commissioner (Land) has been asked to conduct an on-the-spot investigation to this end(if needed).

After conducting an on-the-spot investigation within three working days, the Assistant Commissioner (Land) will give notice to the concerned official for hearing on the fourth working day.

The circular further said that the case should be disposed of by the Assistant Commissioner (Land) at the end of necessary hearing within the next six working days.

Besides, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) will remain as the focal point in this regard and he or she will closely monitor the provision of services to this end.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) will send the concerned report to the Ministry of Land and Land Reform Board by the 10th day of next month.
