Founding anniversary of Muktagachha Press Club held
MYMENSINGH, Nov 17, 2020 (BSS) – The 37th founding anniversary of Muktagachha Press Club was held at the auditorium of the club on Monday evening.
On the occasion, a discussion meeting was also held at the auditorium. Club president Md. Nazrul Islam presided over the meeting.
The discussion was addressed, among others, by Muktagachha Upazila Nirbahi Officer Abdullah-Al-Mansur, General Manager of Pally Bidyut Samity Moqbul Hossen, District Relief and Rehabilitation Officer Sanuar Hossen, Founder President of the press club AZM Imam Uddin Mukta and Club Secretary Shafiullah Sarker.
Club member Mahbubul Haque Ratan conducted the function.
State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid inaugurated the three-day long programme at a function on November 14 as chief guest on the occasion.
Three-day programmes included colourful rally, discussion opening of Bangabandhu corner, Bangabandhu’s rare photo exhibition, art competition and cultural function.
The press club was established in 1983.
