DHAKA, Nov 17, 2020 (BSS) – Condolences continued to pour in for Sheikh Razia Naser, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s aunt and mother of parliament members – Sheikh Helal, and Sheikh Jewel.
Sheikh Razia Naser died of old-age complications while undergoing treatment at the Evercare Hospital in city’s Bashundhara residential area on Monday night at the age of 83.
In separate condolence messages, Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud, Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque, Post and Telecommunication Minister Mustafa Jabbar and Deputy Speaker Md Fazle Rabbi Miah expressed deep grief over the death of Sheikh Razia.
They prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family, said official releases issued here.
Razia left behind her five sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn her death.
She had been undergoing treatment for old age complications at the hospital since November 3.
She will be buried at Banani Graveyard after Johr prayers today following a namaj-e-Janaza there.
