Farhad lauds journalists role for country’s development
DHAKA, Oct 25, 2020 (BSS)- State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain today said journalists play an important role in the development of the country.
“The role of journalists in building a prosperous Bangladesh is immense. Any kind of irregularity hinders development and journalists highlight the irregularities at different levels of the country and society. As a result, the government can continue the trend of development by taking appropriate steps in this regard,” he said.
The state minister was speaking at a certificate distribution ceremony of a 8-day training course organized by Press Institute Bangladesh (PIB) for journalists of different levels as the chief guest at Meherpur here.
PIB trainer Parveen Sultana, Meherpur Press Club president Fazlul Haque Montu and general secretary Al-Amin Hossain also spoke on the occasion with Meherpur Deputy Commissioner Dr Munsur Alam Khan in the chair.
