FM mourns death of Brunei Darussalam Prince Abdul Azim
Dhaka, Oct 24, 2020 (BSS) – Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen
expressed his deep condolences at the demise of the Prince of Brunei
Darussalam Haji Abdul Azim today.
In a message written to the Foreign Minister of Brunei Darussalam
Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah Ibni Al-Marhum
Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Dr. Momen
expressed heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved Royal family, the
government and the people of Brunei Darussalam for this unbearable
loss.
He wished that the bereaved family members would have enough
fortitude to cope with this intolerable loss.
The High Commission of Bangladesh in the Capital of Brunei lowered
the flag at half mast along with other diplomatic missions to show
respect to the departed Prince of Brunei Darussalam.
Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim breathed his last at a local hospital today
following a long illness.
