RAB DG Mamun mourns death of Barrister Rafique-ul Huq
DHAKA, Oct 24, 2020 (BSS) – Director General (DG) of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Chowdhury Abdullah-Al Mamun today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of renowned lawyer and former attorney general Barrister Rafique-ul Huq.
In a condolence message, he said the brave lawyer played a vital role to establish independence of the judiciary and ensure its prestige.
The RAB DG prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Barrister Huq breathed his last at Ad-Deen Hospital in the city this morning at the age of 85.
