BNP resorts to lies in politics: Hanif
KUSHTIA, Oct 24, 2020 (BSS) – Joint General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League Mahbubul Alam Hanif here today blamed the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) for resorting to lies as the party gets imbalanced in politics.
Hanif said BNP men are seen participating in TV talk shows every night, but their leaders are out to accuse the government of trying to control the media.
The AL leader said this in reply to a question from a journalist joining in a view-exchange meeting on ‘Women and Children Repression Prevention’ at the conference room of Deputy Commissioner.
Hanif said people nowadays could not depend on BNP for its massive corruption, nepotism and nomination gambling in election.
AKM Sarwar Jahan Badsha, MP, Selim Altaf George, MP, Deputy Commissioner of Kushtia Aslam Hossain and Police Super Tanvir Arafat were present, among others, at the meeting.
