3 burnt patients of Ctg sent to Dhaka in critical condition
CHATTOGRAM, Oct 18, 2020 (BSS) -Three out of four people who received burnt injuries during a tank cleaning incident in city’s Agrabad area on Saturday night have been sent to the capital’s Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in critical condition.
They were taken to the hospital in Dhaka by ambulance around 4.30 am today, said Naik Mohammad Amir Hossain of Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police outposts.
All the victims have burns about 85 percent of their bodies, hospital sources said.
The victims were identified as Shah Alam, 35, Mohammad Babul, 34 and Sabuj Mia, 18. Among them, Mohammad Nazrul Islam, 60 is undergoing treatment at the burn unit of CMCH.
It may be mentioned that four workers were electrocuted while cleaning a tank in Agrabad area around 10 pm on Saturday night. They were rescued by locals and taken to the CMCH then.
