Police arrest nine of a fraudulent gang
DHAKA, Oct 17, 2020 (BSS) – Cyber Crime Investigation Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in separate drives in Dhaka city and Gazipur arrested nine members of a fraudulent gang engaged in defrauding money using mobile financial service app bKash.
The arrested persons are Mohammad Saiful Islam, 23, Mohammad Liton Hossain, 23, Mohammad Zubayer Shekh, 22, Mohammad Kibria Mondol,19, Mohammad Imran Mollah, 23, Mohammad Shawon Hossain Mondol,18, Minjarul Islam Mollah, 25, Mohammad Ashraf Mollah, 26, and Sagor Ahammed, 25.
Police arrested them in separate drives on October 16 and recovered five mobile phone sets, ten sim cards and a laptop from their possessions, an officer of the crime division said.
A case was filed against them with Ramna Model Thana.
