Four more matches of Bangabandhu Fed.Cup Basketball decided
DHAKA, Oct 11, 2020 (BSS) – Four more matches of the Bangabandhu Federation Cup Basketball were decided on the second day today (Sunday) held at Dhanmondi Basketball Gymnasium in the city.
In the day’s matches, Bangladesh Air Force beat Flame Boys Club by 92-29 points after leading the first half by 47-09 points, The Grags Club defeated Bokshi Bazar by 45-36 points after leading the first half by 27-13 points, Bangladesh Navy outclassed Bangladesh Police team by 99-44 points after dominating the first half by 48-10 points and Joshe Fights Club edged past Dhumketu Club by a narrow margin of 65-63 points after leading the first half by 34-28 points.
A total of eight teams, split into two groups, are taking part in the competition, which is being held to celebrate the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Participating clubs:
Group A – Bangladesh Army, Dhumketu Club, Bangladesh Police and Joshe Fights Club.
Group B – Bangladesh Air Force, Bokshibazar Club, The Grags Club and Flame Boys Club.
