Youth hockey’s players’ report to coach for camp
DHAKA, Oct 10, 2020 (BSS) – All the thirty-six selected youth
hockey players reported to coach Mamunur Rashid today for the training
camp at Moulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium.
“All the players reported today and the players will go through a
COVID-19 test on Monday (October 12) ahead of the training camp,” said
youth hockey team’s coach Maunur Rashid to BSS today.
Prior to the COVID-19 test, the players would go through a fitness
test tomorrow, he added.
Earlier on Wednesday last, the Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF)
called up thirty-six youth hockey players for the camp ahead of
Bangabandhu U-21 Asia Cup Hockey.
After completing the testing formalities, the players will start
the full fledge camp from October 15.
The players’ will be accommodated at Bangladesh Air Force’s
Bangabandhu Base at the Dhaka Cantonment from where they players will
come to practice at hockey stadium. The BHF will make the travel
arrangement for the players so that the players can make their
training without any hindrance. The BHF will decide the practice
schedule later stage.
The BHF will host the Bangabandhu Men’s Junior Asia Cup Hockey
scheduled to be held on 21-30 January next at Moulana Bhasani National
Hockey Stadium.
Those who reported for the camp are Biplob Khujur, Nuruzzaman,

Shashonto, Mohammad Mahbub Hossain, Nayeem Uddin, Raju Ahmed Topu,

Mehrab Hasan Samin, Amirul Islam, Abed Uddin, Al Nahiyan Shuvo, Mehedi
