Goods worth Tk 1cr gutted in Turag factory fire
DHAKA, Oct 2, 2020 (BSS) – A fire broke out at a printing and packaging factory in Nayanichala Taltola area under Turag police station in the early hours of today, gutting goods of Taka one crore.
The fire originated from electric short circuit around 3:50 am, said Station Officer of Uttara Station Fire Service and Civil Defence Md Hanif, adding two units of Fire Service and Civil Defence rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control by 5am.
However, no casualties were reported, he added.
