DHAKA, Sept 27, 2020 (BSS) – Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Attorney General Mahbubey Alam.
In a condolence message, the Chief Justice prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family, an official release said.
“Mahbubey Alam performed his duty as the Attorney General with utmost honesty and sincerity. He was much respected as a lawyer. His contribution in establishing rule of law and justice is undeniable,” the Chief Justice said.
Mahbubey Alam breathed his last at 7.25pm at Dhaka’s Combined Military Hospital. He was suffering from coronavirus.
