1,141 constables transferred from Cox’s Bazar

COX’S BAZAR, Sept 25, 2020 (BSS) – About 1,141 constables working in different upazilas of Cox’s Bazar district police have been transferred simultaneously.

Earlier on Thursday (September 24), 34 inspectors, including officers in charge(OCs) of all police stations in Cox’s Bazar district, were transferred.

Besides, on September 16, the Superintendent of Police was transferred and on September 21, seven additional Superintendents of Police and Assistant Superintendent of Police were transferred.

After the simultaneous transfer of 34 police inspectors in Cox’s Bazar district, about 1,141 police constables working in Cox’s Bazar district were transferred to different places, said an order of the police headquarters today.

On the other hand, 8 new officers-in-charge (OCs) have been assigned to Cox’s Bazar police stations.

At the same time 29 more inspectors have been posted in Cox’s Bazar.

New OCs of Cox’s Bazar are Sheikh Munir ul Gias from Satkhira district, Md Hafizur Rahman from Sirajganj district, Ahmed Sanjur Morshed from Sunamganj, Abdul Hai from Naogaon district, Shaker Mohammad Jubayer from Gopalganj district, KM Ajmiruzzaman from Nilphamari district, Saifur Rahman Majumder from Dhaka Metropolitan Police and Md Jalal Uddin from Moulvibazar district.
