President for ensuring accountability in BPSC’s recruitment

DHAKA, Sept 23, 2020 (BSS) – President M Abdul Hamid today asked
the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) to provide all-out
efforts for ensuring transparency and accountability in every aspect
of its recruitment process.

“Ensure transparency and accountability in recruitment process of
BPSC . . . so that the deserving youths of the country could be
appointed to different various government posts,” he said when BPSC’s
new chairman Md Sohrab Hossain called on him at Bangabhaban here.

Later, President’s press secretary Joynal Abedin told the BSS this evening.

The head of the state hoped that the overall activities of the BPSC
would be more dynamic under the leadership of the newly appointed
chairman of the statutory body.

The PSC Chairman sought overall cooperation and guidance of the
President during his tenure while the President assured him of
providing necessary supports in discharging his duties

President’s secretary Sampad Barua, military secretary Major
General SM Shamim-Uz-Zaman and secretary (attached) Md Wahidul Islam
Khan were also present.
