NAOGAON, Sept 18, 2020 (BSS) – Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder today said Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is not an asset only for Awami League rather he is a national asset.
Mentioning that Bangabandhu is the great leader of the world, he said: “The new generation should be raised on the basis of ideology of Bangabandhu. Only this will turn the country into a ‘Sonar Bangla’.”
He said this while talking to reporters after inaugurating Bangabandhu Corner at the initiative of Naogaon District Food Department here.
The Bangabandhu Corner, built at the main entrance of the Naogaon District Food Building, was comprised of pictures of the Father of the Nation at different times, his biography, historical events, writings and other stuff.
Rajshahi Divisional Food Controller Raihanul Kabir, Naogaon Deputy Commissioner Harun-ur-Rashid and officials from different levels of the food department were present on the occasion.
