BSF chief visits Dhakeshwari National Temple

DHAKA, Sept 18, 2020 (BSS) – Rakesh Asthana, director general (DG) of the Indian Border Security Force (BSF), today visited the Dhakeshwari National Temple, the main Hindu temple here.

Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad leaders welcomed him when he arrived at the temple at 10am.

The BSF chief, who leads the Indian paramilitary force comprising 2,45,000 personnel, stayed inside the temple for 15 minutes.

Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad General Secretary Nirmal Kumar Chattergee, Mohanagar Sarbojanin Puja Committee (MSPC) president Sailendranath Majumder and its general secretaries Advocate Kishor Ranjan Mondol, Sri Biplob Dey and Sri Dilip Gosh, among others, were present during this visit.
