Vegetable seeds distributed among farmers in Cumilla
CUMILLA, Sept 13, 2020 (BSS) – Vegetable seeds were distributed among flood affected farmers in Chandina upazila of the district today.
Former Deputy Speaker Ali Ashraf, MP, distributed the seeds at a function in Chandina Upazila Parishad Auditorium this morning. Local Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) office organized the function.
With Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Bibhision Kanti Das in the chair, Upazila Parishad Chairman freedom fighter Tapon Boxi, municipality Mayor Md Mofizul Islam, Upazila Agriculture Officer Ms Afrina Akhter, Officer-in-Charge of Chandina Thana Samsuddin Mohammod Elias and local AL leader Abdul Jalil were present, among others.
A total of 50 farmers received seeds at the function.
