DHAKA, Sept 11, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Information M Murad Hasan today said the government would continue distributing relief goods among flood-hit people across the country.
“The present government is not only working to improve the quality of life and economic status of the people but also extending helping hands to the people being affected by any calamity,” he said.
He said this while distributing foods among the flood-hit people on Kamarabad Union Parishad premises of Sarishbari organized by Jamalpur District Red Crescent Society this afternoon, said a press release.
He said the government has been distributing adequate relief to ensure that no one is exposed to risk during the ongoing corona crisis and floods.
The state minister called upon the affluent section of the society to come forward in this crisis.
Local Awami League leaders were present at the time.
