SAVAR, Aug 31, 2020 (BSS)- Jahangirnagar University (JU) Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Farzana Islam expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of former President of India Pranab Mukherjee.
In a condolence message, the VC said Bangladesh lost an absolute loved one as he was a true friend of Bangladesh. His death is really an irreparable loss to the political arena in the subcontinent.
Dr Farzana prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members.
India’s former president Pranab Mukherjee, who was under treatment at a Delhi hospital, died this evening at the age of 84.
