Speakers for bringing back convicted fugitive Bangabandhu’s killers

DHAKA, Aug 28, 2020 (BSS) – Speakers at discussion today demanded
the government of bringing the convicted fugitive killers of Father of
the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman back to the country and
implement the court verdicts.

Expressing satisfaction over the verdict of Bangabandhu murder
case, they said the August 15 carnage was a barbaric incident in the
history of human civilization.

Jahangirnagar University BCS Officers’ Forum arranged the discussion
at National Academy for Educational Management (NAEM) auditorium here,
marking the 45th martyrdom anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur
Rahman.

Chaired by forum president Monowar Hossain, a secretary of the
government (LPR), the discussion was addressed, among others, by its
general secretary Abdul Ahad, vice-president Dr Ahmed Munirus Saleheen
(the secretary of the Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment
Ministry), Md Tahiyat Hossain (additional secretary of the Education
Ministry) and NAEM director general Prof Ahmed Sajjad Rashid.

After the discussion, a doa and munajat was offered seeking eternal
peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu and those who were killed
on August 15 in 1975.
