Govt cancels this year’s JSC, JDC exams amid pandemic
DHAKA, Aug 27, 2020 (BSS) – The government has canceled this year’s Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Information and Public Relations Officer of Education Ministry MA Khair today confirmed this to BSS.
Earlier, on August 25, the government had also canceled this year’s Primary Education Completion (PEC) and equivalent examinations due to the lethal COVID-19 pandemic.
The government declared closure of all educational institutions on March 17 to contain the spread of the coronavirus while the education ministry today issued a circular extending the closure has been till October 3.
