Two held with 1,000 yaba tablets in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Aug 19, 2020 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 1,000 pieces of yaba tablets from PTI Masterpara area here this evening.
The arrested persons were identified as Md. Sohel Rana, 22 of Sonapatti and Md. Matiur Rahman Dollar, 28 of Balubagan of the district town.
RAB sources said acting on secret information, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp raided the aforesaid area around 5:30 pm and arrested them with the yaba tablets.
Later, the arrested persons were handed over to the police of Chapainawabganj sadar police station.
A case was filed in this connection.
