Mahila Parishad mourns death of Sayeeda Khanam
DHAKA, Aug 18, 2020 (BSS) – Bangladesh Mahila Parishad (BMP) expressed deep shock at the death of Sayeeda Khanam, country’s first female photographer and an awardee of Ekushey Padak.
In a condolence message, BMP acting president Dr Fawzia Moslem and general secretary Maleka Banu prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Sayeeda passed away at her own residence in Banani here on Monday night at the age of 83.
