DHAKA, Aug 17, 2020 (BSS) – Awami Jubo League today demanded posthumous trial of BNP founder Ziaur Rahman and trial of his wife as well as incumbent BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia for patronising killers of August 15 carnage and war criminals.
Jubo League General Secretary Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil made the demand while addressing a discussion at its central Bangabandhu Avenue office here marking the anniversary of August 17, 2005 series bombings.
He said, “It is now demand of time to bring them to justice for their evil acts.”
Acting president of Jubo League’s Dhaka City South Unit Mainuddin Rana presided over the discussion moderated by its Acting General Secretary Rezaul Karim Reza.
Former leaders of Jubo League Badiul Alam Bodi and Asadul Haque Asad, among others, were present.
