Youth are the workforce of our development: KM Khalid
MYMENSINGH, Aug 12, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid said youth are the workforce of our development activities and massive development has also been achieved in youth sector during the tenure of Awami led present government.
“Youth are the workforce of our development activities. So that the government has been providing training to the youth for building them skilled manpower, Khalid said while addressing a discussion marking the ‘World Youth Day’ held at Shahid Hazrat Ali auditorium in Muktagachha upazila this noon.
Chaired by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Shubarna Sarker, the discussion was addressed, among others, by vice-chairman of the upazila parisad Alhaj Arab Ali, secretary of the upazila AL Billal Hossen and vice president Azizul Haque.
Khalid said, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been working round the clock for the development of the youth community.
He urged the youth community to come forward for building a developed country as well as building Sonar Bangla as dreamt by the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Later, Khalid distributed sports materials among 70 educational institutions in the upazila.
